Building a serene and welcoming family home, this all-encompassing project started with construction and concluded in styling the polished end-result. MEK studio consulted on structural elements such as colours, materialisation, lights, walls and floors, unto curtains and furniture elements.

This wabi-sabi coffee table was custom-made for this space from burned acacia wood. Wabi-sabi is an ancient Japanese philosophy that embraces simplicity, natural materials, irregularities and asymmetry — beauty lies in imperfection.
